Studio Houston is a London based architecture practice working on theatres, cultural buildings, and adaptive reuse projects.
The studio is currently leading the £20 million refurbishment & expansion of Theatro Technis in Camden, transforming the building into a new ‘Cypriot National Theatre’ in the UK.
In 2023, the studio was a finalist in the Davidson Prize for Homebuilding.
The office was founded by James Houston BA MPhil (Cantab) ARB, formerly a Project Architect at David Kohn Architects, where he led the reimagining of S.M.A.K. Municipal Museum of Contemporary Art in Ghent, and the refurbishment of Modern Art Oxford.
