Studio Houston is a London and Somerset based architecture practice working on theatres, cultural buildings, and adaptive reuse projects.
The studio is currently leading the £20m refurbishment and expansion of Theatro Technis in Camden, transforming the building into a new ‘Cypriot National Theatre’ in the UK.
The office was founded by James Houston BA MPhil (Cantab) ARB, formerly a Project Architect at David Kohn Architects, where he led the winning international competition for the €90m redesign of S.M.A.K. Municipal Museum of Contemporary Art in Ghent, and the refurbishment of Modern Art Oxford.
